A 19-year-old woman was raped early on Saturday morning in the subdivision near Weatherby Road and the Florida Turnpike in Orange County, while she was in the garage of her home, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Around 2:47 am, today, a man forced the 19-year-old victim, into her residence and sexually battered her. The suspect next bound the victim and removed several items from her home.
The woman told investigators that, when she heard the suspect leave, she then called the Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect is described as a black male, in his mid-20s, with a thin build and approximately 6′ 2″ tall and weighing about 180 pounds. The man was wearing all black clothing, including a black hoodie and baseball cap. The victim believed that the suspect was harmed with a handgun and may have been driving a gold colored vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
