An Orlando driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash yesterday morning in Orange County, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The accident happened on Wewahootee Road near Bunkhouse Road on Thanksgiving Day, sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 1:30 a.m.
Troopers say, 25-year-old Christina Salvador was heading northeast on Wewahootee Road when for reasons unknown, she traveled off the roadway and sideswiped several trees. Â The 2005 Toyota pickup Salvador was driving continued off the roadway and struck a tree, head-on.
Salvador was pronounced dead on the scene by the medical examiner. Â The pickup was not discovered until 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
Toxicology results are being awaited to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash, troopers say.
