A 51-year-old woman was killed early on Wednesday morning in Volusia County, when the SUV she was driving struck a tree on Interstate 95.
The crash happened near mile marker 238 or Oakhill just before 5:00 a.m.
Troopers say, Donna Scarboro of Scottsmoor, Florida, heading northbound on Interstate 95, lost control of the 2005 Chevy SUV she was driving. Â The vehicle traveled into the center median and struck a tree.
Scarboro, 51, was pronounced dead on the scene by the Medical Examiner.
Troopers also say, the crash remains under investigation.
