A woman wanted in several counties for organized fraud and grand theft was apprehended last week, Marion County deputies said.
25-year-old Latori T. Lewis had multiple warrants from several counties including, Marion, Sumter, Lake, Hernando, Hillsborough and Citrus.
Law enforcement set up surveillance and ultimately tracked Lewis hiding in a home on 34th Street Road in Ocala.
Lewis was apprehended on Wednesday by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehensive Unit. She admitted to using other people’s identification to cash counterfeit checks in Florida and Georgia.
Lewis was booked into the Marion County Jail without bond.
