A woman sustained life threatening injuries after being struck on Tuesday by metal scaffolding, Orlando Police said.
The victim was hit when metal scaffolding fell from a fork lift at 600 West Amelia Street. The accident happened near the West Loading dock just after 10:00 am.
The woman was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
Police said, investigators are currently on the scene.
It was not immediately clear if the woman was a passer-by or connected to the operation ongoing at the location.
