A woman who was hit by falling metal scaffolding from a fork lift at the Amway Arena, died on Tuesday.
Orlando Police said, 53-year-old Tracy Irwin died early this morning at the Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), following life threatening injuries after being struck by metal scaffolding.
Irwin, who worked for an independent contractor, Production Resource Group, at the Amway Arena was transported to ORMC just after 10:00 am, on Tuesday.
Police said, the accident happened near the West Loading dock at 600 W. Amelia Street.
OSHA was notified of the accident which is currently being investigated.
