A 29-year-old woman stabbed her husband to death following an argument last Friday evening on N. Buena Vista Avenue, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said. Â Monique Scott has been charged with first degree murder of her husband Chris Scott and is in the Orange County Jail.
According to OCSO:
On Friday May 14th at approximately 7:30pm deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to 333 N. Buena Vista Ave where there was a reported victim of a stab wound. After further investigation it was determined that Monique Scott, 29 years, had stabbed her husband Chris Scott to death. Investigators say the couple had been arguing and the incident escalated to the point where the victim was stabbed.  Chris Scott later died from his injuries.
Detectives have not said what type of weapon was used in the stabbing or the nature of the argument between the couple.
Monique Scott is in the Orange County Jail, charged with first degree murder with a weapon.
