Deputies are searching for a Hispanic male who carjacked a woman as she left the Florida Mall on Thursday.
Investigators say, the suspect approached the woman as she entered her vehicle, located at 8001 S. Orange Blossom Trail, displayed a handgun and order her to the ground. The man then fled in the victim’s vehicle, a 2004 Gold Hyundai Sonata.
The victim told investigators the man fled in the vehicle with a Hispanic female in the passenger seat.
It is unclear whether or not the woman was hurt during the carjacking.
On Friday, deputies released a composite sketch of the suspect. He is described as 35-40 years old, about 5’5” tall, with a mustache. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and was armed with an unknown claiber handgun.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic woman with dark hair.
