Woman Begs for her Life, as Young Couple Robs Home

Kissimmee police are searching for a couple who robbed a 62-year-old in her home last Friday, using a handgun to terriorize the victim.

Investigators said, 26-year-old Jennifer Deliz and 23-year-old Roberto Gonzalez, both of Kissimmee, entered the woman’s home in the 2000 block of Oak Run Boulevard under the guise of selling Caballero nursing services.

The woman told police, once Deliz gained access to the home, Gonzalez entered behind, pointed a gun at her chest and began demanding money, threatening to kill her if she did not comply.

The victim also told investigators a third Hispanic man directed Deliz to take her to bathroom and to keep her quiet.

The woman was robbed of jewlery valued at nearly $15,000.

Investigators said, the victim was able to positively identify Deliz and Gonzalez in a photo line up.

Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for Deliz and Gonzalez who have been charged with home invasion with a firearm, grand theft, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and kidnapping to facilitate a felony, among other charges.
