A woman was the victim of an attempted abduction on south Goldenrod Road on Monday night, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said.
The unidentified woman told investigators that she was walking north on Goldenrod Road from Pershing, when she crossed paths with an Hispanic male.
The victim said, the same Hispanic male approached her from behind, grabbed her neck and pulled her to the ground.
The woman told deputies she fought with the suspect and was able to escape unharmed, except for minor injuries to her hand.
The attack occurred around 11:00 p.m. on Monday night.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, about 5’7″ to 5’10 tall, heavy set (chunky), wearing black pants and a white v-neck-tee-shirt. The suspect is described as having very hairy arms and a light beard.
Deputies are working on a composite sketch of the suspect at this time.
