Yet another person has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Alex Zaldivar.
Orlando police recently arrested 35-year-old Tekethia Ruffin in connection with Zaldivar’s murder.
Investigators say, Ruffin provided false information to law enforcement during the investigation and was an accessory to the murder after the fact.
Zaldivar was killed on September 10th, when a group of gunman entered a home in Ocoee. Two other people who were also shot during the armed home invasion, survived the shooting.
Within the last 24 hours, two suspects, 24-year-old Donnell Godfrey and 26-year-old Emmanuel Wallace were arrested in connection with Zaldivar’s murder. Both have been charged with first degree murder, two counts of attempted first degree murder and armed burglary.
Earlier, police arrested another suspect, Bessman Okafor in connection with Zaldivar’s killing, along with a close friend, Antoinie McLaren who police say, provided false information to law enforcement.
Ruffin is expected to be escorted out of the rear of the Orlando Police Department on Hughey Avenue around 1:00 p.m., Friday, and later booked into the Orange County Jail.
