Orange County investigators say that, Monica Salama, a 24-year old woman is dead after being run over by a car on the Golden Rod road, on Tuesday around 3:00 am. It is unclear at this point, whether this is a case of road rage.
Investigators have said that Salama got into an altercation with the suspects at an Orange County night club. When she left with a companion in a Volkswagen convertible, Salama was followed by the suspects–two Hispanic males and 3 Hispanic females, in a black Nissan vehicle.
When the Salama got out of her car on Golden Rod road, she was run down by the suspects in the black Nissan vehicle. She was seriously injured and subsequently taken to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Detectives are continuing with this investigation and Golden Rod road has been closed for several hours.
Meanwhile, investigators have located the black Nissan vehicle and are trying to contact the owner.
