Winter Park Couple Charged in Pedestrian Death

A Winter Park couple was arrested on Friday, charged with the death of a pedestrian in Orlando last July.

Florida Highway Patrol said, 24-year-old Natalie Houle and 26-year-old Travis J. Main, both of Galliano Circle in Winter Park, were booked into the Orange County Jail on Friday night.

Troopers said, Houle was driving a 2007 Toyota southbound on Goldenrod Road near Bates Avenue, when she lost control and hit 55-year-old Robert W. Stout as he walked in the Belmont Plaza parking lot.  Stout was thrown into several parked cars and died on the scene.

The crash occurred on July 9, 2011, around 12:15 a.m.

Troopers also said, Main was in the front passenger seat when Stout was killed.

Houle has been charged with DUI manslaughter and DUI with property damage. She was booked in to the Orange County Jail around 7:30 p.m., on a $10,000 bond.

Main was also booked into the Orange County Jail. Troopers said, he has been charged with manslaughter.
