Winter Haven police are investigating the shooting death of a man on Tuesday around 11:20 a.m.
Police responded to the alley at 756 Avenue A, SW and discovered a deceased male.
The shooter was immediately detained, police say.
The name of the shooter has not been released and the motive for the shooting is unclear.
