Who Stole My Drugs?

Over $14 million dollars worth of a cancer drug was stolen from the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, over a three year period, authorities say.

A University of Miami employee and pharmacy technician Manuel Gerardo Pacheco was charged with four counts of grand theft, two counts of trafficking in contraband prescription drugs and one count of dealing in stolen property.  Pacheco has pleaded not guilty, miamiherald.com reports.

A new program to track drugs was being used in the UM medical system, which was not the most reliable.
