Mayor Dyer will present the proposed budget for the City of Orlando for fiscal year 2010/2011 and deliver his annual Budget Address.  Following the Mayor’s remarks, the City of Orlando Chief Financial Officer Rebecca Sutton will give a detailed presentation of this proposed budget.

OUC Green Neighborhood Program Kick-off Meeting

Mayor Dyer will join City of Orlando District 5 Commissioner Daisy W. Lynum and OUC to kick off the Green Neighborhood program in the Malibu Groves neighborhood.  The Green Neighborhood Program will offer free energy efficient upgrades for homeowners in selected City of Orlando neighborhoods with higher than average energy consumptions.

10th Anniversary of Grandma’s House at Westminster Care of Orlando

Mayor Dyer will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Grandma’s House at Westminster Care of Orlando.  Grandma’s House is an intergenerational program that creates an extended family for children and adults with various disabilities where they live together in a home-like environment.

Mayor Dyer will attend the 2010 UCF Football Countdown to Kickoff Luncheon presented by Bright House Networks.  Proceeds from the UCF Football Countdown to Kickoff Luncheon benefit scholarships for student-athletes.

Nemours Children’s Hospital Topping Out Ceremony

Mayor Dyer will attend the Nemours Children’s Hospital “Topping Out Ceremony,” signifying that the highest point of the building construction is completed.
