Mayor Buddy Dyer and Orange County Mayor Richard T. Crotty will make a joint announcement regarding a significant investment to enhance the programs and services at the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida. The announcement will have a profound and positive impact on the lives of homeless individuals in our community.

At Mayor Dyer’s State of the City address, he launched the Strengthen Orlando initiative in an effort to connect residents to vital resources and information that will help them weather this economic crisis. As part of that effort, Mayor Dyer committed to hosting Responding Tours giving him the opportunity to hear from directly from residents. City Commissioners, partner agencies and City staff will join Mayor Dyer to provide resources ranging from financial counseling to childcare to social services.

Maladecki, President of the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association (CFHLA) to celebrate the tourism industry in Central Florida as part of the U.S. Travel Association’s National Travel & Tourism Week, May 9 – 17, 2009.
