Warning: Law Enforcement to Host High Profile DUI Operation

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Orange County Community Safety Task Force, will host a multi-jurisdictional DUI Saturation Traffic Operation on Friday, November 30, beginning at 9:00 p.m., through December 1, 2012, until 4:00 p.m.

The objective of this operation is to safely remove suspected DUI offenders and criminal traffic violators from the highways by mobile and high visibility traffic enforcement tactics, according to a statement released by the Sheriff’s Office. A roving patrol composed of deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Highway Patrol troopers, and local municipalities will saturate the streets, roads and highways in and around east and central Orange County to include the cities of Orlando, Edgewood, and Belle Isle.

WHEN: Friday, November 30, 2012, at 9:00 PM thru Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 4:00 AM.

WHERE: Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Sector II Substation at 11000 Lake Underhill Road

WHO: The operation is a multi-agency effort involving members of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Maitland Police Department, Orlando Police Department, Florida Highway Patrol Troop D, Florida Highway Patrol Troop K Turnpike, Winter Park Police Department, University of Central Florida Police Department, Edgewood Police Department, Winter Garden Police Department, Windermere Police Department, Apopka Police Department, Ocoee Police Department, Oakland Police Department, Belle Isle Police Department and the Florida Highway Patrol Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division.
