Walk Down Sesame Street Before It’s Gone!

WHAT:

Time is running out to walk down one of the most well-known streets in America and discover an engaging, multimedia learning experience that’s all about you in Orlando Science Center’s traveling exhibit “Sesame Street Presents: The Body.” Big Bird, Elmo and fellow Sesame Street residents pack their bags on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014.

A result of Sesame Workshop’s initiative Healthy Habits for Life, “Sesame Street Presents: The Body” is an interactive exhibition created in response to the current childhood obesity crisis in the United States. Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, and Thinkwell Design & Production created this experience to teach families about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, especially at an early age.

EXPERIENCE:

Sing about your insides at “Count’s Count the Organ Organ”; discover what happens to food when you eat it with Oscar the Grouch; join Ernie’s “Rub-A-Dub-Tub Club” to find out how much fun staying clean can be; and so much more!

COST:

Experience “Sesame Street Presents: The Body” with admission to Orlando Science Center which is $19 for adults and $13 for youth (ages 3 – 11). Tickets include access to all four floors of exhibits, giant screen and 3-D educational films, one Hollywood feature-length film, and live programming.
