Orlando Police Department detectives are continuing with their investigation into the deaths of two men at the Walden Palms Apartments last month. Detectives say that they are being assisted by a surviving victim, a resident of the apartment complex, as they await forensic and DNA results.
On May 14th, around 11:00 pm, police responded to the Walden Palms Apartments and found Kenneth F. Watson, 28, a security guard at the complex, dead inside the apartment of one of the residents. Efrain B. Rivera, 27 years, a resident of the Walden Palms Apartments was found deceased outside. Police recovered a firearm and other weapons at the location.
According to sworn testimony from the surviving victim, Watson murdered Rivera. However, detectives are awaiting lab results to support or refute that testimony.
Detectives have not yet come to a conclusion on how Watson died, as they await forensic and DNA results. They have said though that, the sworn testimony given by the surviving victim appears to be consistent with the investigation so far.
Police have said that they are not looking for a suspect in this case.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
it is really strange how the their is a survivor and it was never mention and this case is still open, what they really mean it makes no sense or they do not believe the surviror stories. These two guys were live in lovers, why would a security officer that has been working their want to kill someone? strange isnt it! this does not sound at all like a home invasion as you see often. This survivor might be the killers of both of these men that is why they keeping a tight eye on him it sounds like he had a fight with his roommate and someone called this security guard to find out what is going on. this guy was already probally killing his roommate when Watson walked up on them he himself was probally stabbed during this violet act and lost his life. we will wait for Forensic and see but my hunch feels just right.
