Victoria’s Voice Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by David and Jackie Siegel, dedicated to drug prevention, education and naloxone access, will host its third annual “Save Our Kids” forum on America’s opioid crisis on Thursday, September 28th, from 3pm-6pm at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa (Versailles Ballroom), located at 9500 Turkey Lake Road in Orlando.
The forum comes nearly three months after Victoria’s Voice launched the first ever National Naloxone Awareness Day on June 6th with bipartisan congressional support.
In addition to the Siegels, keynote speakers at the forum will include:
- Dennis Lemma, Seminole County Sheriff; President of the Major County Sheriffs of America; Victoria’s Voice board member
- Michael R. DeLeon, Founder of Steered Straight – a drug prevention program for school systems nationwide; Victoria’s Voice’s director of youth outreach and school programs
- Andrea G. Barthwell, MD, DFASAM, Former Deputy Director for Demand Reduction in the Office of National Drug Control Policy under President George W. Bush; Chief Medical Officer of Wire Health; Founder of Encounter Medical Group; Board director of the Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts; Victoria’s Voice advisory board member
- Pam Bondi, former Florida Attorney General
- Dr. Joseph C. Maroon, Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC); longtime team neurosurgeon for the Pittsburgh Steelers; Medical Director of Word Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)
