Florida power couple Val and Jerry Demings are both respectively standing out for their leadership during the coronavirus pandemic. While Representative Val Demings continues to lead at the federal level in Washington D.C. and Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings excels at the local level, both have also focused on the human level with their public service (photos below).
Last week was just another example of that when the both Demings prepared meals for seniors and later delivered them to the elderly community together.
“It’s always a great day when I get to work side by side with U.S. Representative Val Demings,” Orange County Mayor Demings posted. “Today, she and I prepared meals for seniors in need at Food for Thought Event Venue. Later, we safely delivered them to members of our elderly community who attend the Pine Hills Community Center and L. Claudia Allen Center.”
