A father of two children who intentionally set fire to an apartment in the Pine Chase Drive area, will likely be charged with child neglect and endangerment.
Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said, the fire began just before 4:00 p.m. on Monday. When Orange County Fire Rescue officials arrived on the scene they found two women and two children unharmed by the flames.
Investigators believe the father of two may have set the fire because he was upset with a guest living in the apartment.
Deputies said, the suspect has not yet been arrested, but he is expected to be charged with child neglect and endangerment. The name of the suspect has not been released.
Four adjacent apartments had to be evacuated, as a precaution.
