Uncorking Orlando Ballet at The Abbey: 2013 – 2014 Season

Orlando Ballet’s artistic director Robert Hill and acknowledged dancers uncorked what assures to be a unforgettable 2013-2014 season. To a standing-room audience at The Abbey, an audience was given an intimate setting detailing the complexities involved with choreography, timing, and the human element. For those unable to attend, you missed a significant evening.

After 40 years of magnificence, the Orlando Ballet begins her majestic display October 18th, 19th, and 20th with a Tribute at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center. Inspired by a rich past, Robert Hill’s production takes each audience member through memorable favorites encompassing the recent five years.

For the extended group, Orlando Ballet’s Family Series showcases Snow White on Saturday, October 19th at 11:00 am. This classic favorite comes alive in a way you will not soon forget. Without hesitation, families and adults of all ages will find the seven dwarves and company a tradition worthy of experiencing again and again.

Tucked inside the grandeur of the holiday, The Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre and the Orlando Ballet offer their interpretation of The Nutcracker. Proudly accompanied by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, the end of the year full-length favorite featuring the Mouse King, a Sugar Plum Fairy, and Mother Ginger will be one of the artistic highlights of 2013.

* Some Assembly Required (A World Premiere): March 14th, 15th, and 16th 2014
