College students, typically a demographic that loves to save wherever they can, were delighted to learn that the University of Florida would be offering new online classes at a price cheaper than the ones on campus.
The University of Florida, the state’s top-ranked public college, soon will offer 20-25 bachelor’s degree programs fully online, at a cost cheaper than on-campus classes. It’s the first time such a program will be offered by a Florida public university and if successful could expand to others.
“I can sit in my underwear at home and do it,” said Zachary Wano, a junior a Boynton Beach Community High School, talking to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. “It’s stress free; I don’t have 70 people in class with me.”
