A philosophy professor at the University of Central Florida is charging that she was racially profiled by four white campus police officers after she was pulled over earlier this month, clickorlando reports.
Jennifer Lisa Vest, a philosophy professor at UCF says that she was discriminated against based on her race, gender, sexuality and disability when she was stopped on August 9.
Vest said that she was called abusive names like “drug user, crackhead and liar” after campus police illegally searched her car and found prescription drugs.
An internal investigation of police actions is underway.
