UCF Shortchanges Students

Over 30 University of Central Florida faculty members could lose their jobs if four programs are cut from the University’s budget.

If the cuts are approved some 1,000 students will also be affected.

Students and faculty members are adamant that the University should look elsewhere for some $4.6 million in savings.  They are suggesting that monies for beautification might be one area that can be cut.

The Board of Trustees is set to vote Thursday on budget cuts.
