Typhoon Lagoon Water Park reopened on at the beginning on the month on a beautiful and sunny Florida morning at Walt Disney World Resort, before closing the next day for cold weather. But Guests can once again experience their favorite water attractions and tropical family water park fun during Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary celebration.
Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is closed for refurbishment at this time. While Typhoon Lagoon was closed, Blizzard Beach was the only Disney water park option.
To celebrate the reopening of Typhoon Lagoon, guests got to build their own tropical flavor DOLE Whip combinations at Snack Shack. According to Disney, there are several new menu offerings that debuted during the reopening.
