Investigators say, around 1:00 a.m., on Monday, while patrolling near Boggy Creek Road and Buenaventura Boulevard in Kissimmee, they observed two males riding bicycles without lights.

Officers attempted to make contact with the suspects, later identified as Stephen Edge and Ryan W. Schaub, but they sped away and were eventually stopped at a nearby gas station.

The investigation revealed that Edge, 21 years, had stolen several watches from a booth at the Osceola Flea & Farmer’s Market.  Edge and Schaub told deputies that they needed money and so, decided to burglarize the business.

Deputies arrested Edge and Schaub, both of Coco Bay Circle in Kissimmee.

Edge was charged with unoccupied burglary and petit theft and was booked into the Osceola County Jail.

Schaub, 17, was charged with unoccupied burglary and released to his parents’ custody.
