Two Persons of Interest Named in Killing of Restaurant Worker

Deputies have named two persons of interest in the murder of a 53-year-old female restaurant employee on Orange County’s west side on Wednesday night.

They are: 17-year-old Adriel McKee and Glenn L. Quick II, 33 years.

Investigators say, McKee and Quick are known to frequent the area of Silver Star and North Pine Hills Roads.  McKee was arrested in July 2011 on several serious charges, to include attempted first degree murder with a firearm, carjacking with a firearm and aggravated assault.   The outcomes of these charges are unclear. 

Investigators say, a masked suspect entered the China Wok restaurant at 2702 Silver Star Road just before 8:30 p.m. The suspect demanded cash from the female worker and shot her in the head, as she failed to comprehend his demands. The gunman also demand cash from a second worker who was pistol whipped.

The employee was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center and later died of her injuries. Investigators have not released her name.
