Deputies have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of Keven Padilla, 18.
Padilla was shot in the early morning hours of February 7, and placed next to a motorized scooter in the 2700 block of Rio Pinar Lakes Boulevard.
He was taken off of life support the following day.
Orange County deputies said Thursday, 16-year-old Marc Rivera and Jasen Timothy Checo, 19, both Hispanics, have been charged in Padilla’s murder. Checo, who has been charged with first degree felony murder, was picked up on a warrant.
Investigators have release few details on the case, but said, Rivera and Padilla were known to each other.
