Orange County homicide detectives have named two new persons of interest in the shooting death of Ying Jie Sun, a restaurant employee.
The persons of interest are: 22-year-old Raymond Barnes, Jr. and 20-year-old Calvin Washington.
53-year-old Ying Jie Sun was gunned down at the China Wok on Silver Star Road in October, after a masked suspect entered the restaurant and demanded cash. A second worker was pistol-whipped.
Witnesses to the murder described the gunman as a black male, about 5’9″ – 5’10” tall with medium build. It is believed that the suspect wore a black hat, short sleeved gray shirt with horizontal stripes and a black mask at the time of the shooting.
Following the fatal shooting, detectives named two other persons of interest who were subsequently cleared.
