The drivers of two vehicles were killed in a crash on State Road 50 in Lake County Monday afternoon, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened near Lee Road, just before 5:00 p.m.
Troopers said, a 37-year-old female driver was heading east on State Road 50, when a tire separated and the 2002 Ford van she was driving traveled onto the grass shoulder. The woman over-corrected and traveled into the westbound lanes and struck an oncoming 1999 Dodge pick-up.
Mark Miller, 60, of Nobleton, Florida, the driver of the Dodge pick-up was pronounced dead at the scene, along with the unnamed female driver.
A third vehicle, a Toyota pick-up, driven by Trenton Howard, 21, of Webster, Florida, struck the Ford van. Howard suffered minor injuries.
Troopers are waiting toxicology results to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.
The name of female driver, who is from Orlando, has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
