Police have arrested Denetrice A. McNeal who caused two floors of the Ramada Plaza Orlando Hotel to be evacuated earlier today.
OPD responded at approximated 12.44 pm to the Hotel where the gunman was holed up with a victim, who later managed to escape, unharmed.  Crisis negotiators were brought to the scene and the standoff ended when police officers stormed the hotel room.
The suspect was arrested in Kissimmee with joint effort by OPD Fugitive Investigation Unit and Kissimmee Police Department. West Orlando News has learnt that the following charges are pending: aggravated assault, battery, false imprisonment and child neglect.
