Two Port Orange women were arrested and charged with armed robbery of two people on Tuesday–a 78-year-old woman and another person in a wheel chair, police said.
According to police, the older of the two women was in the intensive care unit of the Halifax Health Medical Center on Wednesday.
The two suspects — 29-year-old Lacey Robertson and 25-year-old Sarah Higbee — were nabbed by South Daytona and Port Orange investigators for the two robberies that occurred in Port Orange and South Daytona within an hour of each other.
