Four children were ejected from an overturned vehicle in Osceola County, two of whom are in critical condition and another suffering from serious injuries troopers said.
Florida Highway Patrol said, a 1999 Ford Explorer heading southbound on Poinciana Boulevard veered off the right should of the roadway around 2:30 pm, on Sunday. The driver, Omar Laborde, 29, of Kissimmee over-corrected and traveled in a southeast direction across the roadway and overturned.
Troopers said, there were six passengers in the Explorer and four children were ejected when the vehicle overturned.
A 1-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy are in critical condition at the Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital.
Another passenger, Anna Pacheco, 15, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Osceola Regional Hospital.
Three other passengers, Ana Roque, 32, and two other children, 11 and 10 years, suffered minor injuries.
None of the 5 children was wearing a seat-belt.
The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending, troopers said.
