Two men were arrested on charges related to a deadly Central Florida shooting in the 500 block of S. Howard Ave of Tampa last month.
Tampa Police arrested Jakhari Filmore and Darryl Hill, and both are charged with Felon in Possession Firearm (Felony) after they were identified through investigative means as being in the area at the time of the shooting.
Investigators are currently working to determine if they were involved in the shooting. Officers on patrol responded to shots fired on May 12th, shortly before 3:00am.
Kenneth Washington and Kevon Christmas died from their injuries as a result of the shooting.
According to local law enforcement, this remains an active investigation, and additional charges could be forthcoming.
