Two Arrested for Central Florida Residential Burglaries

Two people were recently arrested for multiple Central Florida residential burglaries.




41-year-old Trenton Michael Watkins and 39-year-old Rachel Marie Perez, both of Kissimmee, were arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office this month.

The pair is blamed for multiple residential burglaries in Poinciana that occurred between April 18th and May 5th.

PCSO deputies located the couple and performed a traffic stop on a white Ford Escape that the suspects used to commit the burglaries.

The vehicle was driven by Perez, who did not have a valid license, nor motorist insurance, and methamphetamine was found inside the vehicle, according to local law enforcement.

The investigation revealed that the couple had taken multiple appliances and sold them. Some of the items have been recovered, and detectives are working to recover the rest.

According to local law enforcement, here are the charges:




Trenton Watkins was charged with: Burglary of a Residence (4 counts), Grand Theft from Dwelling (4 counts), Dealing in Stolen Property, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary (4 counts), False Owner Info Pawnshop, Traveling Across County Lines (4 counts), VOP, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Rachel Perez was charged with: Burglary of a Residence, Grand Theft from Dwelling, Dealing in Stolen Property, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Traveling Across County Lines, DWLSR, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Maintain Insurance.

They were booked-in at the Polk County Jail.
