Florida Highway Patrol officers have identified the two persons killed in the head-on crash on SR 46 in Brevard County on Sunday morning.
Dale Francis, 51, of Oviedo, who was heading the wrong way on SR 46 near Sweetwater Drive, was killed when his vehicle collided with a Ford-pick-up driven by 24-year-old Matthew Moran, also of Oviedo.
The head-on collision caused both vehicles to over turn, with the pick-up bursting into flames.
Moran, the driver of the pick-up, also died on the spot.
Troopers say, toxicology results are being awaited to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.
