Trayvon Martin Community Forum Today

 

The Florida Civil Rights Association (FCRA) and The National Action Network (NAN) Central Florida Chapter, has mobilized with Star 94.5 FM Radio, Fight Back Coalition, Concerned Citizens United and Women of Color Leadership Coalition to hold a community forum. The purpose of the Community Forum is for citizens to discuss issues in the community surrounding Florida vs. George Zimmerman Trial and Verdict and to have an open dialogue about Civil Rights & Civil Liberties, Environmental Injustice, Voting Rights, Community Development and Education that are affecting African Americans, other racial and communities of color. Also, the forum will highlight the controversial death of James Anderson of Ft. Pierce, Florida, while in the custody of local police and others.
