The highly anticipated attraction Transformers: The Ride – 3D, officially opened at Universal in Orlando Thursday, following a soft opening several weeks ago.
A mind-blowing, action-packed ride experience, Transformers pushes the limits of technology to place guests in the middle of a larger-than-life battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons.
“Transformers is one of the movie industry’s most successful franchises and Universal’s ride offers a four-minute, condensed version of all the action that people loved from those movies,” Robert Niles, editor of Theme Park Insider said, NBC News reported. “It’s just the robots, fighting, with the audience along for the ride – literally.”
One reviewer had this to say about Transformers:
The fate of the planet is at stake, and you are along for the ride in the incredibly immersive, larger-than-life battle to the finish between the Decepticons and the Autobots. It’s another in-your-face, rock-em, sock-em, sensory-oveload attraction from Universal (really, do they make them any other way?) that will leave you breathless and wondering, “What the heck just happened?” I’ll tell you what just happened: Universal rocked and knocked your socks off — yet again.
“Transformers: The Ride – 3D” is at Universal Florida at 6000 Universal Boulevard Orlando, Florida. A one-day ticket to Universal costs $92, or $86 for ages 3-9. Phone: 407-363-8000.UniversalOrlando.com.
