On Saturday, May 18, 2013 the Floridians Against the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the Central Florida AFL-CIO and the Communications Workers of America, Local 3108, will host a panel of experts to discuss the importance of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Trade Agreement and its impact on Central Florida. This event is FREE and open to the public and will feature the Honorable Alan Grayson, Loraine Tuliano the president of the Central Florida AFL-CIO and Timothy Murray the community organizer with Organize Now. The panel will give an update on the negotiation process; discuss the impact of these secretive and fast-tracked trade negotiations on the local community and urge participants to act now. The 17th round of negotiations started May 15, 2013 in Lima, Peru and will conclude on May 24, 2013.
