Toronto Raptors upend Orlando Magic

DeMar DeRozan’s 21 points lead the Toronto Raptors to a 123-88 win over the Orlando Magic.

With a fifth straight loss the Magic have dropped to 12-18 on the season.

“It’s disappointing but you have to stay positive” JJ Redick said post game.

The Raptors used a 30-7 run in the first half to build a 67-47 lead at halftime.

“We just wanted to push the lead and finish them. We understand they fight from tip-off until the end of the game,” Toronto’s Jose Calderon said.

Andrew Nicholson led the Magic with 22 points and 7 boards.

Orlando was also outscored 36-17 in the fourth quarter.

The Magic will host the Miami Heat on New Year’s Eve Monday, tip-off set for 5pm.
