TITUSVILLE MAN WINS $1 MILLION PLAYING SCRATCH-OFF GAME

The Florida Lottery announced that Rajeshbhai Patel, 46, of Titusville, claimed a $1 million prize in the $10,000,000 FLORIDA CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

 

Patel chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $762,287.20. He purchased his winning ticket from Nidy’s Grocery, located at 2120 Garden Street in Titusville. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

 

The $25 game, $10,000,000 FLORIDA CASH, features more than 11 million winning tickets and more than $624 million in total cash prizes! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-2.88.

 

Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 67 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $632 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2014-15.
