Florida High Patrol (FHP) state troopers who for a second time went to Tiger Woods‘ mansion in Isleworth, near Orlando, to interview the professional golfer on Saturday afternoon, came away empty handed.
Having previously scheduled an interview for Tiger to provide details of his car crash on early Friday morning, FHP state troopers were told by his agent that, he and his wife were “unavailable” and that they should return Sunday, November 29th.
But perhaps it was not only FHP who were disappointed yet again, having gone the previous day to get information on the crash. Also, disappointed were the hordes of media and camera crew who staked out Woods’ upscale compound for hours on Saturday, expecting to get further details on the crash.
National crews like CNN and NBC, along with the AP, Channels 13, 6, and 9, among others, no doubt will be back outside the gates of Woods’ compound tomorrow, Sunday, when FHP state troopers are due to return.
Let’s hope that by Sunday, with more than 48 hours since the world’s famous golfer crashed his car into a hydrant on Friday at 2:30 a.m., steps away from his house, sufficient time would have elapsed to offer a cogent explanation as to why the accident occurred.
It is time for Tiger to speak!
