Tiffany Moore Russell officially announced her candidacy for Orange County Mayor in the 2026 election. She is currently the Orange County Clerk of Courts and former District 6 Orange County Commissioner.
“I’ve spent my life right here in Orange County—from growing up in these neighborhoods to serving you as County Commissioner and now as your Clerk of Courts. Every step of the way, I’ve stayed focused on one thing: delivering real results for the people who call this place home,” Tiffany Moore Russell said. “Now, I’m running for Orange County Mayor—to take on the big issues and build a future we can all be proud of. That means strengthening transportation, supporting small businesses, investing in our youth, expanding parks and recreation, and making sure people can actually afford to live here. I’ve never shied away from a challenge—and I never will.”
While her campaign for Orange County Mayor is officially underway with the paperwork filed with the Supervisor of Elections, her official campaign kickoff event will be on May 13th.
Tiffany Moore Russell for Orange County Mayor will host the campaign kickoff at Heart of West Lakes (710 S Tampa Ave, Orlando 32805) on Tuesday, May 13th from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Those interested in attending can RSVP online.
“I’ve lived, worked, and served right here in Orange County, and I’m running to ensure our communities get the leadership we truly deserve,” Tiffany Moore Russell added. “This campaign is about all of us — from affordable housing and reliable transportation to youth programs and support for small businesses.”
This race to succeed Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings is expected to draw a lot of interest and is likely to attract many candidates.
For now, Tiffany Moore Russell is the only current candidate for Orange County Mayor in 2026.
