Three would-be robbers turned vicious killers were arrested and charged today with a January murder/robbery at Valencia Forest Apartments.
According to OCSO:
On January 14, 2010 at approximately 2:15 AM Orange County Deputies responded to a shots fired/aggravated battery call at the Valencia Forest Apartments, 1012 Valencia Vista Way, Apartment 208. Upon arrival deputies located 24 year old Darnel Paris deceased outside the apartment with at least one gunshot wound. Witnesses reported hearing an argument or brief disturbance outside the apartment just prior to hearing gunshots.
Homicide Investigators have made three arrests in this case. Tips and investigative leads enabled detectives to secure arrest warrants for Akimo Dawson, 26 years, Keshawn Matthews, 23 years, and Hyram Graneau, 20 years. All three suspects are currently incarcerated in the Orange County Jail and are being held without bond.
Investigators are still following up on leads in this case and will only confirm that robbery appears to be the motive.
