Three suspects have been arrested after a fight on Orange County’s east side on Sunday left one man suffering from numerous injuries, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said on Monday.
28-year-old Mohammed Hassan*, 32-year-old Jose Velez and 44-year-old Raed Samara, the three suspects, have been charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and aggravated battery.
Deputies said, Hassan, Velez and Samara were involved in kidnapping and beating 52-year-old Rodney Gleason in the vicinity of Forsythe Road on Sunday, just after 1:00 pm.
A 911 caller had informed three suspects had attacked a victim, who later turned out to be Samara, forcefully placing him into a Gold Infiniti SUV on North Goldenrod Road.
Investigators won’t say what led up to the kidnapping and beating of Samara, but only that there was an ongoing dispute between Hassan, Velez, and Samara, the three suspects and Gleason, the victim.
