Three Central Florida dealers of deadly fentanyl have been indicted for first-degree murder of their customers.
Tymone Walker, Charles Troutman, and Dexter Tolbert sold the fentanyl that killed members of the Volusia County community.
Walker, Troutman and Tolbert were all charged with First-Degree Murder by Unlawful Distribution of Controlled Substance.
Defendant Tymone Walker is accused of selling fentanyl to a man in July 2023, which he took and later died of an overdose.
Defendant Charles Troutman is accused of selling fentanyl to a man in December 2023, which he took and later died of an overdose.
Defendant Dexter Tolbert is accused of selling fentanyl to a woman in February 2024, which she took and later died of an overdose.
The cases against Walker, Troutman and Tolbert were investigated by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office. The VSO Overdose Task Force said they are pursuing every OD in an effort to track down the drug dealer and help prosecutors bring criminal charges wherever possible.
