John Errol Ferguson, a mass murderer, who has spent decades on death row for the murder of eight people, is scheduled to die by lethal injection later on Monday.
Ferguson, 65, in two separate killing sprees in Carol City in 1977 and Hialeah in 1978, in South Florida, took out eight people.
Gov. Rick Scott had signed Ferguson’s death warrant last fall, but several appeals delayed the execution.
Ferguson’s execution is set for 6:00 p.m. Monday.
